Tea History

While the first tea plantation was established in 1863, it wasn’t until the 1950s that a political shift allowed Nepal’s tea industry to grow. Small farmers now produce the majority of Nepal’s handmade, orthodox tea, often working in innovative co-ops like KTE which helps reduce poverty by providing free housing, education opportunities, and food subsidies to their community.

Tea Notes

This velvety floral white tea is carefully hand-picked from young tea bushes at precisely the right moment in spring. On first sip you'll experience its bright, refreshing nature with top-notes of vanilla and lingering earthy undertones. The delightful floral, fruity finish will leave you anticipating the exciting, complex flavors of a second steep and beyond.
